Project Description

I worked with Rizzoli Publishing to design maps used on the end papers of two new coffee-table books.

The map for the book, Antarctica: The Waking Giant, utilized a high-resolution satellite image of the continent with custom elements added to highlight ice mass boundaries, expeditions and land mass features.

Hiking Trails of the Pacific Northwest: Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Southwestern British Columbia showcases some of the best trails in the region via maps with terrain backgrounds, national forest boundaries, and national scenic trails.
